Ben Giannini (Lead Guitar)
I'm 16 years old, and im a sophomore. Ive been playing guitar a little over 3 1/2 years, and i love every kind of music out there. My playing style is heavily influenced by power/prog/speed metal. I have a beautiful girlfriend named Shea Riner, so no groupies for me, bwahahaha. I play RavenWest and Schecter guitars, and for an amp I use a Marshall 100 watt half stack. In my spare time , when im not playing guitar or being with Shea , I sleep or eat or play video games. I also love singing and im in chorale/jazz choir at Bartlett High School. thats about it. : )

Mike- (Drums)
My name is Mike,I was born and raised in Memphis,TN.I was first introduced to metal at roughly age 5 when my big brother popped in a metallica tape(enter sandman is what i remember),and i really started getting into it during the 5th grade with bands like limpbizkit, papa roach, linkin park and mostly mainstream bands at the time.Metallica's Lars Ulrich was my first inspiration for drums,i downloaded a bunch of live videos, and i watched most of them to see Lars play, thats what made me want to play drums.I first started messing with percussion with some home made drum sticks and a seating pad i had from my weightbench.Later on,i bought a drum set(without cymbals) from a friend, and i still didnt know how to really play.Lars ulrich being my inspiration,i wanted to play with double bass pedals,so i bought double bass pedals before i even bought my hi hat.Farther down the road,i started taking drum lessons at memphis drumshop, due to money costs and shedule problems i had to cut them short. From then on ive been teaching myself and gathering information from other drummers to improve my playing.I first heard of smiths grove when ben(the guitarist) invited me to their show.Months later, and some changes made with the band,i was invited on a recommendation ben made and now i be thy drummer.

Fav Music:I like generaly all types of music, but metal is my favorite.

Equipment:Pearl Export,zildjan A custom cymbals(one paiste)

General Interests:Music, computers, drums, learning about the bible, and a bunch of other thingies(in no particular order)
